// My work questions the complexity of the processes of subjectivation and sexual identities in the contemporary society. I use the sexual and gendered body as the main place/siteof this deconstruction. Often treated by detail, loss or lack, also playing with the off-camera, it is also the subject of inversion mechanism (disguise, superposition of gender markers) that disturb its identification. By using fiction, between fabulation and queerization, I seek to discredit identity determinism and to make my characters be emancipated figures of/offtheir political, social and cultural assignments.

My artistic project is part of a critical dialogue with neoliberal and globalized society, where the spectacular image conveys new forms of oppression. I distort the codes of advertising, television, film, web or art history to appropriate their seduction power, and better question it. The choice of multimedia tools (such as photography, video or digital creation) as mediums of predilection is related to the power of image, through which fiction becomes active.

The iconography that I summon/convenehere is mostly associated to the feminine and the maternal, between alienation and sexualization, settling an ambiguity connoting/evokingthe extent of the ambivalences attestedby the current profusion of genders. Notably mobilizing my own mother in my work, I exploit this emotional attachment to better empathize with the feminine and reinvent its narrative in the collective unconscious. Through the equivocal relation that I install between these sensual representations and the filial love which/thatmotivates this project, I set the scene of an Oedipal issues a strategic place to resist the patriarchal paradigm.
